Jubilee Fellowship Church - January 5, 6
It was good to be back at Jubilee. A couple of days before this weekend God gave me a word for Pastor John Leach and the future of Jubilee. It was quite specific and had to do with an adjustment of focus and direction for the church. John really has a heart to raise up church leadership and plant churches. Jubilee planted it's first church in 2007 and is planning to open a leadership training school in 2008. I led worship for the weekend with a group from Jubilee. It's been fun getting to lead worship with the Jubilee musicians, singers, and techies. Worship Pastor, D.J. Smith, has done a great job developing and assembling a very anointed and talented team.
Grace Place (Loveland Campus) - Jan 13
This was our second time serving the folks at the new Loveland Campus of Grace Place. Both Susanne and I sensed and greater freedom and liberty in worship from our first visit. Tuc played the bass and it was fun to have our friends, Eric Shanfelt, Monty Dumler, and Greg and Brenda Morgan, complete the worship team for the morning.
Calvary Temple - Jan 20
Pastor Barry is the man! I love his preaching - unparalleled humor and a challenging and uplifting word. Susanne and I joined with CT Worship Leaders, Dave Hannon and Daniel Douma and the CT Worship Team, for a dynamic morning of worship. Daniel and I went to CFNI Bible College together over 20 years ago! (OK - that is really hard to admit!)
Night of Worship @ CCCC - Jan 23
I came into the new year with a desire to do some Mid-Week Nights of Worship - maybe once every month or so. I was so blessed when an opportunity came up at Christ Center Community Church in Ft. Collins. Some friends of ours, Scott and Cathi Roth, have been helping with a weekly Wed Night worship and prayer meeting there that has been infusing life into the church. They and Pastor David Niquette invited us to come and do a Night of Worship and open it to the community. The worship team consisted of our daughter, Morgan, Joshua and Michelle Alcantar, David Besch, Monty Dumler and Susanne and me. Michael Dalton helped us with technical aspects of the evening. It was a sweet time in the presence of God. People seemed genuinely blessed and touched by His grace.
Jubilee Fellowship Church - Jan 26th and 27th
Pastor John Leach was rockin' this weekend. He has been teaching a series called the Power of 10 - celebrating the 10th Anniversary year of Jubilee Fellowship Church. The message this week was one of the best I've heard in a long time. My kids were very blessed. We led worship with our whole family - including our son-in-law, Chris. We were joined by our awesome vocalist friend, Shauna (Chanda) Laxson, and Hannah, Thomas' special friend.
