Calvary Temple w/ Tim Storey – August 1-2

Pastor Barry and Tim Story have decided to do some mid-week revival-type meetings from time to time. Tim usually likes to bring in his own worship leader but has felt comfortable working with me and asked me to join him when he visits CT. We enjoyed two great evenings of God doing His thing. Tim was again a major blessing to Susanne and I through his teaching and time with us personally. We thank God for Pastor Barry and Vicky as well. They have been such an amazing source of encouragement to us. It’s a joy to serve them and the wonderful folks at CT.

Jubilee Fellowship Church – August 11-12

Pastor John and Chris asked us to come back and lead worship for their four weekend services and do a Night of Worship that Sunday evening as well. God spoke to me a few weeks before going there that that He wanted to do a specific thing in bringing freedom and deliverance to those who were experiencing mental oppression. The Lord confirmed this as John’s message that week tracked with the same thought. We had an amazing time of worship that night – wow! It was like an explosion. Morgan and Thomas (our two oldest kids) and other buddies from Northern Colorado came down to serve with Susanne and me on the worship team. It was a great night in God! John and Chris continue to be a total blessing to Susanne and me – they have a been a real manifestation of God’s grace and care in our lives. God is up to some cool stuff at Jubilee – it will be fun to watch.

Life Fellowship – August 19th

We were invited by Ron Gibson and the Ft. Morgan Christian Contingent (not an official organization!) to do a community Night of Worship for the folks in the Ft. Morgan area. We took a bunch of our worshipper/musical buddies, including Frankie, a young guitarist we met at Crossroads in Loveland, and had a beautiful time in God with the believers there. We experienced a very meaningful time of prayer and intercession for the people of Morgan County. It so cool to see that God is active and moving in this community.

New Creation Church – August 26

Pastor Mario and Stacy Latini asked Susanne and I to serve their congregation in worship for both Sunday morning services. We brought a team with us, which included our son Tucker on acoustic guitar and Morgan on keys/vocals. God really showed up. Mario ditched his message and we spent our time in both services worshipping God and enjoying His presence. We had a nice lunch with Mario and Stacy following the services – they are good people with a very real love for God and His church..

The Benner’s Big Red Barn – August 29

We did a small, informal Night of Worship in the Big Red Barn of our good friends, Jeryl and Patty Benner. We did kind of an unplugged thing musically with Dave Beegle playing acoustic guitar, Donnie Richards on percussion, Morgan on keys/vocals, me doing my deal, and Michael Dalton helping us with sound. It was really fun. About 30-40 people showed. And, most importantly, God showed up.
